Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ hotel general manager experience with properties of 500 rooms and $50M annual revenue
  • Proven leadership ability in large, legacy hotel operations
  • Strong financial and commercial management skills
  • Experience in managing sales clusters and sales team partnerships
  • Ability to lead renovation and capital projects
  • Skilled in driving performance across multiple demand segments
  • Strategic and people-focused leadership approach
  • Effective communication and motivational skills
  • Hilton brand familiarity preferred
  • Knowledge of local market dynamics
  • Experience working in unionized environments preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Strong financial and commercial acumen

  • Strategic, people-focused leadership capabilities
  • Preferred - experience partnering with union leadership
  • Exceptional communication and public speaking skills
  • Hilton brand experience
  • Local market experience

Job Duties

  • Oversee all hotel operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences
  • Lead and motivate a large, diverse team
  • Manage financial performance, including budgeting and forecasting
  • Partner with ownership and Hilton corporate to align strategy and enhance service standards
  • Drive performance across various demand segments including group business and food & beverage
  • Lead renovation and capital improvement projects in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Foster a positive and inclusive culture aligned with Hilton values
