Job Requirements
- Ability to work in a high-energy and demanding environment

- Availability to work 8-10 hour shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends

- Residency on-site preferred for Resident Manager role

- Ability to work Monday to Friday with flexible shifts
- Willingness to uphold brand culture and standards
Job Qualifications
- Minimum three years related hospitality management experience
- Experience managing Marriott full or select service properties preferred
- Knowledge of revenue management
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proven leadership and team motivation abilities
- Experience with hiring and training employees
- Organization and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems
- 4-year degree highly preferred
- Basic computer skills including email, word processing, and spreadsheets
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
- Ability to effectively direct staff
- Conversational Spanish beneficial
Job Duties
- Function as the primary strategic business leader of the property
- Manage overall property performance including sales, marketing, and profitability
- Lead development and implementation of property-wide strategies
- Monitor and provide feedback on service and operational standards
- Review and respond to guest satisfaction scores and comments
- Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and sanitation standards are met
- Manage labor flow to achieve budget and profitability goals
- Delegate responsibilities appropriately among associates
- Prepare for quality assurance audits
- Utilize sales and marketing advantages over competitors
- Coach associates on selling strategies
- Develop new revenue streams through property amenities
- Analyze and communicate property performance data
- Manage controllable costs associated with rooms, housekeeping, and food and beverage
- Maintain revenue management goals
- Consolidate reports for period-end review
- Work with revenue management reports to inform decisions
- Keep management and owners updated on financial and operational performance
- Conduct performance review process for associates
- Support ongoing development and training of managers and associates
- Conduct day-to-day human resource transactions
- Facilitate activities reinforcing brand culture
- Participate in owner conference calls and respond to requests
