Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 3 years experience in club management, hospitality, or related field
  • minimum of 1 year experience managing budgets and making sound judgments in expense allocation
  • ability to develop and implement strategic business plans
  • strong leadership and people management skills
  • ability to maintain financial controls and comply with regulatory standards
  • proficiency with computer and spreadsheet software
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • discretion in handling confidential information

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 3 years experience in club management, hospitality, or related field
  • minimum of 1 year experience managing budgets with sound judgment in expense allocation
  • bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
  • certifications such as Food Handlers Certificate, Alcohol Safety, STAR Service preferred
  • STAR Trainer Certification, TABC Certification, and CPR Certification preferred
  • skilled in handling confidential member and employee data with discretion and integrity
  • proficiency in computer literacy and spreadsheet software
  • strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and effective team management abilities

Job Duties

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business and financial strategy plans for the club
  • regularly monitor performance metrics against plans to ensure revenue targets are achieved across operational areas
  • offer strategic leadership to department heads across Agronomy, Facilities, Fitness & Wellness, Food & Beverage, Golf Operations, Member Experience, and Sales
  • recruit, select, develop, and continually evaluate qualified department heads
  • guide department heads in strategic employee development plans leveraging performance reviews, cross-training, goal setting, and recognition
  • lead recruitment, training, development, and performance management of employees ensuring service and member satisfaction
  • implement sales, marketing, and net revenue strategies aligned with financial plans
  • maintain effective expense control systems and forecasting procedures
  • ensure the club meets financial obligations and adheres to GAAP and company policies
  • foster member relationships and maintain high-quality facilities through effective staffing, programming, and maintenance
  • analyze member retention metrics and develop targeted strategies to enhance retention rates
  • engage with resigning members to gather feedback for continuous improvement
  • promote a motivating work environment centered on teamwork, respect, and member satisfaction
  • ensure the club operates safely and legally according to regulatory obligations
