Job Description

This job opportunity is offered by an independently owned restaurant franchisee that operates under the McDonald's brand name. Unlike McDonald's USA, which is the corporate entity and branding owner, this franchisee is a separate business entity responsible for all operational decisions and employment matters within its restaurant. This means that while McDonald's logos, food products, and trademarks are used in the restaurant, employment decisions including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling are exclusively managed by the franchisee, not McDonald's USA. Job Qualifications

  • Previous general manager experience in high volume locations
  • background in quick service restaurants preferred
  • experience in hospitality or retail management
  • strong leadership and coaching skills
  • ability to set and achieve goals
  • effective communication skills
  • at least 18 years old

Job Duties

  • Run a profitable restaurant to meet company goals
  • uphold McDonald’s standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
  • set restaurant goals in collaboration with leaders
  • lead and coach Department Managers
  • follow up on departmental progress
  • hire and develop Department and Shift Managers
  • improve overall restaurant operations through team leadership
