Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in restaurant or nightclub management
  • Ability to lift or carry items weighing up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to move safely and efficiently around the venue
  • Capability to handle food, objects, products and utensils
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must speak fluent English

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 4 year college degree or equivalent with coursework in restaurant management preferred
  • At least 5 years experience in restaurant or nightclub management
  • Multi-unit management experience a plus
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
  • Must speak fluent English, other languages preferred
  • Good people management skills
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Proven leadership and effective verbal and written communication
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change
  • Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
  • Internally motivated and detail oriented
  • Passion for teaching and developing others
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be at least 21 years of age

Job Duties

  • Control the day-to-day operations of the venue within the policies and guidelines set forth by the company
  • Maintain a professional company image including restaurant and bar cleanliness and proper uniforms
  • Manage service contracts with outside vendors including consulting agreements and third-party entertainment vendors
  • Prepare operational statements and financial disclosures and take appropriate actions
  • Control profit and loss by managing cash, inventory, labor, and financial reports
  • Ensure daily deposits are made, safe counts conducted, and venue cash secured at all times
  • Maintain cost of goods sold, nightly comps, nightly recap reports, and safe audits by overseeing inventory counts
  • Respond to customer service needs to provide the highest standards of service
  • Complete financial and personnel/payroll related administrative duties accurately and on time
  • Recruit, interview, hire, train, supervise, motivate, take disciplinary action, and terminate team members when necessary
  • Ensure all staff is properly trained and equipped to carry out their job functions
  • Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents
  • Represent the venue professionally in the community including local businesses, civic organizations, and media
