Job Requirements

  • Education qualification as stated (2-year degree plus 8 years experience or 4-year degree plus 6 years experience)
  • Proven experience in management operations, sales and marketing, finance, or related areas
  • Demonstrated progressive career growth and exceptional performance in the hospitality industry
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and late nights
  • Strong leadership capability to manage and develop a high-performing team
  • Capability to analyze and act on business information and market trends
  • Commitment to uphold legal, safety, operational, and brand standards compliance

Job Qualifications

  • 2-year degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field with 8 years of relevant experience
  • OR 4-year bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field with 6 years of relevant experience
  • General Manager experience in limited or full-service properties preferred
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic business plans
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience with financial performance management and revenue generation
  • Knowledge of industry trends and competitive market analysis
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and late nights

Job Duties

  • Develop business plans to maximize customer satisfaction, profitability, and market share
  • Execute business strategies aligned with Marriott global plans and local market conditions
  • Lead and hold property leadership team accountable for performance
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to identify and pursue new business leads
  • Manage talent development and organizational capability to foster high performance
  • Analyze business data for informed decision-making and improvement
  • Maintain employee and labor relations fostering open communication
  • Implement revenue management strategies to optimize occupancy and revenue
  • Build and maintain strong owner relations through proactive communication
  • Oversee customer and public relations to uphold brand image and guest satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and brand standards through audits and inspections
