Job Requirements
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 8 years experience in management operations, sales and marketing, finance and accounting, or related professional area
- Or 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 6 years experience in management operations, sales and marketing, finance and accounting, or related professional area
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and late nights
- Property industry work experience demonstrating progressive growth and exceptional performance
- General Manager experience in limited or full-service property preferred
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field
- At least six years of experience in management operations, sales, marketing, finance, or related professional area
- Proven leadership in hotel management, preferably general manager experience in limited or full-service properties
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business strategies aligned with brand objectives
- Strong skills in talent management and team development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with revenue management and budgeting
Job Duties
- Function as primary strategic business leader for the property
- Ensure implementation of Marriott brand service strategy and initiatives
- Oversee guest and employee satisfaction including human resources operations
- Lead financial performance, sales, and revenue generation efforts
- Guide and hold property leadership accountable for strategy execution and professional development
- Build strong relationships with property owners and local community stakeholders
- Ensure property compliance with legal, safety, operations, labor, and brand standards
