Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality business management or related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years experience in restaurant management or hospitality leadership
  • Proven track record of managing upscale or fine dining restaurant operations
  • Strong understanding of financial management cost control and budgeting
  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and motivate teams to achieve service excellence
  • Experience collaborating with culinary and marketing teams
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Physical ability to stand walk and perform restaurant operations
  • Commitment to uphold health safety and sanitation standards
  • Willingness to embrace company values of diversity inclusion and continuous improvement

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in upscale or fine dining restaurants or high-end hospitality environments
  • Demonstrated ability to drive financial performance enhance guest satisfaction and foster employee engagement
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to cultivate a team culture of accountability collaboration and high performance
  • Entrepreneurial mindset comfortable working within financial limitations and identifying innovative growth strategies
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with guests and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in restaurant management systems POS systems and Microsoft Office software
  • Knowledge of Sonoma Valley's food wine and hospitality scene is a plus
  • Experience leading in a union environment is an asset
  • Flexibility to work weekends holidays and variable hours

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily operations of Sante's dinner service and the 38 North Lobby Bar focusing on operational logistics and guest experience
  • Lead the strategic repositioning of Sante working with brand hotel and culinary teams
  • Identify and implement creative cost-effective strategies to grow revenue improve margins and drive business
  • Support peak periods by coaching staff in real-time and ensuring service excellence
  • Manage departmental financial performance including forecasting payroll cost control and profitability
  • Inspire develop and lead a passionate team fostering accountability development and excellence
  • Collaborate with Chef de Cuisine and culinary team to align service menu and guest experience
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to design and implement promotions events and seasonal activations
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement leveraging guest feedback and colleague insights
  • Analyze market trends guest feedback and competitive offerings to position Sante as a dining destination
  • Maintain brand standards with the highest quality and visual appeal
  • Assume Manager on Duty responsibilities supporting all Food and Beverage Venues
  • Maintain a clean safe and welcoming environment with a focus on health and safety
  • Support broader hotel initiatives and cross-functional alignment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
