Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum four years retail management experience preferred
  • General knowledge of accounting procedures
  • Experience working with point-of-sale systems
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Desire to achieve high standards
  • Team player with leadership accountability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to obtain or possess a passport
  • Regular attendance
  • Ability to frequently travel by air and road within Alaska and to Canada
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma required, bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum four years retail management experience preferred
  • General knowledge of accounting procedures
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work cooperatively and as a team player
  • Willingness to learn and achieve high performance standards
  • Effective organizational and leadership abilities
  • Ability to travel regularly
  • Ability to obtain or possess a valid passport
  • Fluent in English

Job Duties

  • Oversee all company retail facilities and supervise station managers
  • Monitor day-to-day operations to achieve store profitability and growth
  • Coordinate system maintenance and troubleshoot retail site system failures
  • Ensure compliance with credit card PCI regulations and local, state, and federal regulatory agencies
  • Standardize inventory and merchandise sets, manage pricing policies and margin targets
  • Provide upper management with weekly reports on sales and profit
  • Conduct month-end inventory counts and manage shrinkage
  • Implement employee orientation and training programs
  • Manage vendor relationships and control costs
  • Ensure site cleanliness and enforce safety and security policies
  • Collaborate on senior management projects
  • Enforce company policies and procedures
