This job posting is for a General Manager position at a McDonald's restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. This franchisee operates the restaurant under a license to use McDonald's logos and food products but is a separate company and employer from McDonald's USA. The franchisee is fully responsible for all employment matters, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. Job Requirements
- must be 18 years or older
- proven experience as general manager or similar role
- strong leadership and organizational skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- excellent customer service orientation
- ability to lead and motivate a team
- willingness to work flexible hours
Job Qualifications
- previous general manager experience running high volume locations
- background in quick service restaurants preferred
- experience in hospitality or retail is a plus
- strong leadership and team management skills
- ability to set goals and drive results
- excellent communication and coaching abilities
Job Duties
- run a profitable restaurant
- ensure the restaurant meets McDonald's standards of quality, service, and cleanliness
- set restaurant goals and create plans to achieve them
- lead a team of Department Managers with specific restaurant responsibilities
- help Department Managers set their goals and follow up on their progress
- provide coaching and direction to improve departments
- hire and develop Department and Shift Managers
