Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or hospitality management or related field
- 5-7 years of management experience in food-related or concessions industry
- Valid Food Handlers certificate
- Alcohol Service Permit if required by state or local government
- Advanced food service sanitation training course certification
- Proven leadership skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of event planning and facility operations
- Ability to handle cash accurately
- Understanding of budget preparation and control
- Strong decision-making skills under pressure
- Knowledge of safety regulations
- Proficiency in English
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or better from an accredited college or university in business or hospitality management or related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years management experience in food-related or concessions industry
- Management experience in a ballpark or stadium viewed favorably
- Proven leadership skills
- Nationally recognized advanced food service sanitation training course certification
- Valid Food Handlers certificate and Alcohol Service Permit if required
- Effective communication skills with employees, volunteers, management staff and guests
- Ability to make sound business and operational decisions quickly under pressure
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
- Consistently adhere to highest standards of integrity, professionalism, ethics and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently with little direction
- Knowledge of event solicitation, presentation, public relations, marketing, media relations, event planning, facility operations, budget preparation and personnel management
- Considerable knowledge of safety regulations and related laws
- Ability to speak, read and write in English
Job Duties
- Ensure legal, efficient, professional and profitable operation of the assigned venue
- Generate and review financial reports including budgets, projections, forecasting, revenue analysis, disbursements, capital investments, labor and product costs, wage and salary control, and P&L financial statements
- Make final decisions on equipment purchases and leases
- Resolve conflicts including mediation, arbitration and labor negotiations when applicable
- Author, review and amend policies, procedures, and contracts
- Oversee scheduling and labor allocation
- Analyze ticket sales to anticipate staffing needs and target market demographics
