Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business or Hospitality Management or related field
- 5-7 years of management experience in food or concessions-related industry
- Proven leadership ability
- Certification in advanced food service sanitation training
- Valid Food Handlers certificate and Alcohol Service Permit if required by law
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong decision-making skills under pressure
- Accurate cash handling abilities
- High ethical standards and professionalism
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledgeable in event management, public and media relations, marketing, budgeting, and personnel management
- Familiar with safety, federal, state and local laws
- Proficient in English
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or better from an accredited college or university in Business/Hospitality Management or related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years management experience in food-related or concessions industry
- Management experience in a ball park or stadium is favorable
- Proven leadership skills
- Nationally recognized, advanced food service sanitation training course certification
- Valid Food Handlers certificate and Alcohol Service Permit if required
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, volunteers, management staff and guests professionally and courteously
- Ability to make quick, sound business and operational decisions under pressure
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
- Consistently adheres to highest standards of integrity, professionalism, ethics and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction
- Knowledge of event solicitation and presentation, public relations, marketing, media relations, event planning, facility operations, budget preparation and personnel management
- Knowledge of budget preparation and control
- Considerable knowledge of safety regulations and applicable laws
- Proficiency in English language communication including speaking, reading and writing
Job Duties
- Ensure legal, efficient, professional and profitable operation of the assigned venue
- Generate and review financial reports, including budgets, projections, forecasting, revenue analysis, disbursements, capital investments, labor and product costs, wage and salary control, P&L financial statements
- Final decision-maker on equipment purchases and leases
- Conflict resolution

- Author, review and amend policies and procedures, as required

- Oversee scheduling and labor allocation
- Analyze ticket sales in relation to anticipating staffing needs, target market demographics

- Evaluate recent historical sales and purchasing data for the purpose of identifying purchasing patterns and accurate cost of goods
- Program and maintain the point of sale system to ensure accurate financial reporting, tracking of accountability, and commodity levels by location
- Direct and assist managers in preparing and attaining future goals
- Provide each manager with proper direction and follow up on all assignments
- Inspect the operation regularly to ensure established quality standards are maintained
- Prepare required reports accurately and submit them on time, follow up with department heads for timely reporting
- Develop an effective management team
- Give managers clear direction and provide necessary assistance
- Evaluate manager performance and recommend improvements
- Review and assist in menu and marketing plan development with department heads
- Establish and maintain relationships with show managers, suppliers, vendors and public to project the venue positively
