Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in business or related field
- Minimum five years management experience in food service or concessions
- Possession of Concessions Manager Certificate
- Certification in advanced food service sanitation
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to make quick, sound decisions in pressure situations
- Proficiency in English language skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office and POS systems
- Ability to collaborate in a team fast-paced environment
- In-depth knowledge of venue concessions operations
- Valid Food Handlers certificate and Alcohol Service Permit if required
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation and alcohol service policies
- Strong math skills
- Cash handling experience
- Commitment to integrity and professionalism
- Ability to work independently
- Union work experience
- Prefer experience in ballpark or stadium environment
- Accounting coursework preferred
Job Qualifications
- MA or MS
- BA or BS with business-related major
- Minimum 5 years management experience in food-related or concessions industry
- Concessions Manager Certificate from the National Association of Concessionaires
- Nationally recognized advanced food service sanitation training course certification
- Ability to communicate professionally and clearly
- Ability to make sound business/operations decisions quickly and under pressure
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Solid working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office, POS systems, timekeeping systems
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Possess thorough working knowledge of concessions and premium services locations
- Possess valid Food Handlers certificate and Alcohol Service Permit if required
- Thorough working knowledge of sanitation requirements, food prep guidelines, alcohol service policies, safety standards
- Ability to calculate basic and complex math functions
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
- Adhere to highest standards of integrity, professionalism, ethics and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently with little direction
- Experience working in a Union environment
- Experience in a fast paced ballpark or stadium preferred
- Accounting minor or credits preferred
Job Duties
- Ensure legal, efficient, professional and profitable operation of the assigned venue
- Generate and review financial reports, including budgets, projections, forecasting, revenue analysis, disbursements, capital investments, labor and product costs, wage and salary control, P&L financial statements
- Final decision-maker on equipment purchases and leases
- Conflict resolution

- Author, review and amend policies & procedures, as required
- Author and amend contracts

- Oversee scheduling and labor allocation
- Analyze ticket sales in relation to anticipating staffing needs, target market demographics

- Evaluate recent historical sales and purchasing data for the purpose of identifying purchasing patterns and accurate cost of goods
- Program and maintain the point of sale system to ensure accurate financial reporting, tracking of accountability, and commodity levels by location
- Direct and assist managers in preparing and attaining future goals
- Provide each manager with proper direction and follow up on all assignments
- Inspect the operation regularly to ensure that established quality standards are maintained
- Prepare required reports accurately and submit them on time
