Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years in food and beverage management or related fields
  • strong computer skills including POS and Microsoft Office
  • experience in employee training
  • knowledge of inventory and product ordering
  • excellent communication skills

  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • knowledge of sanitation and safety regulations
  • basic math proficiency

  • certifications in food service sanitation and alcohol service preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or higher in Culinary Management, Business Management, or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in Food & Beverage Management or related role
  • solid knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office and POS systems
  • experience training new employees and volunteers
  • advanced knowledge of inventory procedures and controls
  • experience ordering product for high-volume venues
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to make sound business and operational decisions quickly
  • ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • comprehensive knowledge of sanitation, food preparation, alcohol service, and safety standards
  • basic math skills for POS and inventory management
  • high standards of integrity, professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality
  • nationally recognized food service sanitation and alcohol service certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage, develop, and mentor part-time and full-time employees
  • complete documentation of employee performance and attendance
  • generate and review financial reports including budgets and P&L statements
  • coordinate marketing channels including website and social media
  • design and produce digital content and creative assets
  • create and distribute press releases and media content
  • build and maintain media and community relationships
  • monitor marketing performance and analytics
  • ensure proper event set-up and sanitation standards
  • oversee smooth and profitable event execution
  • manage inventory, order product, and handle high-volume sales
  • run all venue operations before, during, and after events
  • train new and current employees on procedures and best practices
  • cover or back up open positions to maintain operations
  • ensure compliance with state, federal, and company policies
  • complete post-event evaluations and reporting
  • ensure a safe work environment free from harassment
  • provide ongoing assistance, training, mentoring, and positive reinforcement to staff and volunteers
