Job Requirements
- Associate's degree or higher in culinary management, business management, or related field
- 5-7 years experience in food and beverage management or related roles
- Solid working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office, POS and timekeeping systems
- Experience training employees and volunteers
- Advanced knowledge of inventory procedures and controls
- Experience ordering product for high-volume venues
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse groups
- Ability to make quick, sound operational decisions under pressure
- Ability to work well in fast-paced, team-oriented event environments
- Knowledge of sanitation requirements, food preparation guidelines, alcohol service and safety standards
- Basic math skills for cash and credit transactions, cash reconciliation and product inventory
- Commitment to integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
- Preferred certifications in food service sanitation and alcohol service
Job Qualifications

- Experience training employees and volunteers

- Experience managing orders for high-volume venues
- Strong communication skills with employees, management and guests
- Ability to make quick, sound operational decisions under pressure
- Experience working in team-oriented, fast-paced environments
- Thorough knowledge of sanitation, food preparation and alcohol service policies
- Basic math skills for POS transactions and inventory
- Commitment to integrity, professionalism, ethics and confidentiality
- Preferred certification in food service sanitation
- Preferred certification in alcohol service
Job Duties
- Manage, develop and mentor part time and full time staff including initiating employee discipline as needed
- Complete documentation of employee performance and attendance issues
- Generate and review financial reports including budgets, revenue analysis, and P&L statements
- Coordinate marketing channels including website and social media
- Design and produce graphics and digital content for marketing
- Create and distribute press releases and media announcements
- Build and maintain media and community relationships
- Monitor marketing performance, budgets, and analytics
- Ensure proper event set-up and sanitation standards
- Oversee smooth, efficient, and profitable event execution
- Manage inventory, product ordering, and high volume sales
- Operate all venue functions before, during and after events including staff scheduling, equipment inspection and guest relations
- Train employees and volunteers on procedures and best practices
- Cover/back-up any open positions to maintain operational standards
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, sanitation, alcohol service, and safety regulations
- Perform post-event evaluations, tracking and reporting
- Maintain a safe and harassment-free work environment
