Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • College degree or equivalent experience required

Job Duties

  • Maintain high service and quality standards through quality assurance inspections and guest satisfaction surveys
  • Communicate guest feedback and address trends with hotel staff promptly
  • Train and encourage guest service for all associates
  • Collaborate with hotel team to set examples of expected guest service
  • Follow up on guest inquiries and concerns to ensure high standards
  • Participate in sales efforts, negotiate business, and maintain client relationships
  • Attend community events and build relationships with local organizations
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and business plans with the sales team
  • Work with revenue manager and sales team on sales strategies and business mix
  • Direct operations team to meet service and quality needs of accounts
  • Identify obstacles to exemplary service and implement improvements
  • Communicate Survey results and address identified needs and trends
  • Respond to guest concerns arising from surveys
  • Maintain guest satisfaction scores within brand standards
  • Manage expenses according to budget to maximize profitability
  • Review and manage payroll and labor effectively
  • Utilize procurement system and approved vendor network
  • Prepare and manage budget and forecast efforts
  • Report financial forecasts and analyze month-end results
  • Share revenue forecasts to adjust departmental expenses
  • Review accounts receivable and payable following accounting practices
  • Manage and maintain company assets within budget
  • Assist with training and development of associates
  • Ensure effective new hire training and maintain training records
  • Analyze and adjust training programs
  • Implement new brand training initiatives
  • Effectively interview, hire, coach, and develop associates and management
  • Conduct annual employee reviews and address performance issues
  • Motivate staff by setting goals and recognizing achievements
  • Address associate turnover and communicate survey results
  • Provide fair treatment and maintain open door policies
  • Manage workload and assist team in workload management
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills
  • Promote a professional and collaborative work environment
  • Lead daily, weekly, and monthly team and departmental meetings
  • Participate in monthly safety committee meetings
  • Conduct routine inspections to maintain compliance
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment
  • Manage accidents and incidents per company policy
  • Complete incident reports and follow up
  • Promote corporate safety programs
  • Ensure OSHA and SDS compliance
