Job Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- At least 7 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, or a relevant environment
- Minimum 5 years’ leadership experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain in operations management
- Ability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures ranging from mild to moderate conditions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of applicable warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Strong English reading, writing, and verbal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication, leadership, supervision, and planning skills
- Advanced accounting and financial mathematical skills related to managing P&L and budgets
- Ability to motivate self and team
- Ability to adapt to change and thrive in fast-paced environments
- Ability to build effective relationships and unify diverse teams
Job Qualifications

- Five years’ leadership experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain in operations management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Business communication proficiency at all levels
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and personnel management skills
- Effective leadership, supervision, and planning skills
- Advanced expertise in accounting and financial applications related to P&L and budget management
- Ability to motivate self and others
- Adaptability to fast-paced, changing environments
- Ability to develop effective relationships and provide leadership across diverse organizations
Job Duties
- Ensure systems and procedures are in place for managing operations safely and profitably
- Lead operations to meet prescribed productivity and service goals
- Set goals to drive company continuous improvement efforts
- Develop and maintain business relations with vendors, suppliers, and partners
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and federal and state laws
- Develop and manage controls to meet service level, cost, revenue, and profit goals
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and recommend annual operating budget
- Manage overall safety and security of the operation
- Develop team to achieve company and client objectives
- Support mentoring, succession planning, and management development
- Communicate mission, vision, and core values to motivate direct reports
- Develop plans and capital requests for appropriate automation and technology
- Act as site-level champion of client relationship management
- Coordinate and lead business reviews with clients and company representatives
- Participate in marketing and sales activities and new account strategies
- Develop and manage annual operating budget and contract pricing
- Manage sanitation, maintenance, security, housekeeping, safety, and equipment standards
- Establish a proactive and participative safety culture within operations
- Audit warehouse for compliance with safety, security, and quality standards
- Work overtime as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
