Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in food and beverage or hospitality management
  • Experience working with group sales or event coordination teams
  • Ability to manage and develop staff schedules
  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the role such as walking, standing for extended periods
  • Availability to work during event days including evenings and weekends
  • Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in food and beverage management especially in sports or entertainment venues
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience managing union and non-union staff
  • Proficient in inventory control and cost management
  • Knowledge of event planning and banquet operations
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Familiarity with payroll and labor compliance procedures
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Monitor email leads for BEOs and ensure timely follow-up from managers
  • Collaborate with Group Sales team to accommodate guest needs and manage menu changes
  • Review BEOs weekly with management and sales teams to confirm event details
  • Coordinate all FOH staffing requirements with labor and workforce coordinator
  • Develop and continuously improve training programs for hourly staff, supervisors, and catering managers
  • Confirm completion of FOH staff scheduling, bar builds, equipment rentals, and F&B orders within SOP timelines
  • Monitor inventory management to maintain cost of goods and proper product rotation
  • Attend weekly event meetings to review F&B needs and communicate setup plans
  • Direct BEO assignments to supervisors ensuring event planning is three or more days in advance
  • Prepare schedules for all catering hourly non-union and salaried staff in collaboration with labor coordinators
  • Ensure labor compliance with union obligations and satisfactory execution
  • Monitor staff assignments and attendance during shifts
  • Deliver pre-shift notes addressing attendance, uniforms, compliance, and safety
  • Conduct event setups and walkthroughs with managers ensuring readiness
  • Manage proper use of sign in/out sheets and payroll corrections following SOPs
  • Oversee thorough event break down and coordinate large event logistics
  • Ensure smooth setup, breakdown, and execution of Group Sales events
  • Perform MOD duties for events in rotation and lead major event operations on-site
  • Support team in maintaining standards and exemplary guest experience during events
