Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- relevant experience in bars and restaurants
- previous management experience in food and beverage operations
- strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- proficiency in budgeting and financial management
- effective communication skills
- ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

- Experience in the field of bars and restaurants, preferably within a lifestyle concept
- some years of experience managing food and beverage operations
- demonstrated passion for trending local food and drink concepts
- strong leadership and communication skills
- ability to manage budgets and financial performance

- knowledge of market trends and ability to implement innovative solutions
- ability to maintain operational standards and enforce policies
- competency in staff scheduling and inventory control
Job Duties
- Schedule team members to business demands and track team member time and attendance
- maintain purchasing, receiving and food storage standards
- maintain budgeted cost and labor percentages while offering memorable guest experiences
- ensure regular, ongoing communication occurs such as daily pre-shift meetings and departmental meetings
- ensure team member recognition takes place on all shifts and participate in recognition programs
- solicit team member feedback, utilize an open door policy and address team member concerns
- stay informed of market trends and introduce new products to drive guest engagement and revenue
- ensure proper controls and policies are established and followed
- participate in development and implementation of corrective action plans
- manage staffing levels to meet guest service, operational needs and financial goals
- develop and communicate departmental strategy aligned with brand
- establish goals and hold leadership team accountable
- provide inspirational leadership to enliven service and brand standards
- supervise and manage team members and daily operations
- assist staff during high demand times
- provide excellent customer service and respond proactively to concerns
- monitor guest feedback and take corrective action
- communicate and assist staff to understand guest needs and coach as needed
- meet with guests to obtain feedback on food, beverage quality and satisfaction
- identify opportunities to optimize performance and encourage innovation
- identify developmental needs and provide growth opportunities
