Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 5 years experience in restaurant management
  • proven track record of successful staff supervision and development
  • strong understanding of food and beverage cost control
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to maintain high standards under pressure
  • legally authorized to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field preferred
  • extensive experience in food and beverage management
  • proven leadership and team development skills
  • strong financial acumen in managing budgets and controlling costs
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to handle multiple tasks and strong organizational skills
  • familiarity with computer software relevant to restaurant management
  • knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to restaurant operations

Job Duties

  • Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel and discipline restaurant staff for efficient operation
  • organize and conduct pre-shift and department meetings
  • schedule and direct staff work assignments
  • maximize restaurant profitability by controlling food, beverage and labor costs
  • maintain par stock levels by inventory management and ordering
  • develop and implement cost savings and profit enhancement measures
  • utilize computer systems for customer billing and reporting
  • monitor food quality and service standards
  • review and evaluate customer satisfaction and address complaints
  • ensure compliance with policies, laws, and sanitation standards
  • participate in menu development and marketing
  • ensure staff apply Forbes service standards
