Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 5 years experience in restaurant management
- proven track record of successful staff supervision and development
- strong understanding of food and beverage cost control
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to maintain high standards under pressure
- legally authorized to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field preferred
- extensive experience in food and beverage management
- proven leadership and team development skills
- strong financial acumen in managing budgets and controlling costs
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to handle multiple tasks and strong organizational skills
- familiarity with computer software relevant to restaurant management
- knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to restaurant operations
Job Duties
- Interview, select, train, supervise, counsel and discipline restaurant staff for efficient operation
- organize and conduct pre-shift and department meetings
- schedule and direct staff work assignments
- maximize restaurant profitability by controlling food, beverage and labor costs
- maintain par stock levels by inventory management and ordering
- develop and implement cost savings and profit enhancement measures
- utilize computer systems for customer billing and reporting
- monitor food quality and service standards
- review and evaluate customer satisfaction and address complaints
- ensure compliance with policies, laws, and sanitation standards
- participate in menu development and marketing
- ensure staff apply Forbes service standards
