Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
  • Experience in contract negotiation and personnel supervision
  • Knowledge of labor relations and union contract management if applicable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Knowledge of facility management and event operations
  • Ability to work under pressure and resolve conflicts
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance
  • Proficiency in office software and equipment

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, public administration or related fields
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in contract negotiation, business law, purchasing procedures and personnel supervision
  • Experience with labor relations and union contracts, if applicable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information
  • Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholder groups
  • Knowledge of entertainment or convention facility management
  • Problem-solving and corrective action skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • Knowledge of event solicitation, public relations, advertising and event planning
  • Understanding of safety regulations and applicable laws
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Basic facility management knowledge
  • Effective supervisory skills
  • Conflict resolution and motivational abilities
  • Facility management experience
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, word processing and office equipment is helpful

Job Duties

  • Review, approve and monitor budgets, make recommendations regarding adjustments and alterations
  • Analyze daily food sales, patron attendance and labor costs to prepare budgets and maintain cost control
  • Oversee Food and Beverage sales projections and budgets for assigned accounts and events
  • Manage event operations to assure client satisfaction
  • Develop and implement standards of operation to ensure quality service
  • Lead new business development efforts including client identification, contract negotiations, and proposal development
  • Market services to grow assigned food and beverage accounts
  • Maintain liaison with Legends Global's financial and staff services
  • Enforce cost and quality control standards and ensure compliance with health laws and internal regulations
  • Direct development and execution of operating and marketing financial plans including budgets and capital expense plans
  • Control day-to-day operations and conduct post-event operational and financial reviews
  • Approve contracts and agreements with suppliers, promoters, and tenants
  • Coordinate timely response to internal and external directives
  • Oversee staffing plans and advise Human Resources on revisions
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations in personnel and facility operations
  • Recommend operational improvements for efficiency and safety
  • Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate staff
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with tenants, employees, union representatives and the public
