Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in aeronautical or related field or equivalent background
  • minimum ten years of aircraft MRO or engine MRO or related airline experience including ten years in leadership roles
  • proficiency in related technology systems preferred
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • knowledge of FAA regulations and safety standards
  • ability to develop and implement operational goals
  • experience in managing teams and resources
  • ability to interpret technical manuals and government regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in aeronautical or related field
  • Master's degree in engineering, finance, or business administration preferred
  • minimum ten years of aircraft MRO or related airline experience

Job Duties

  • Establish goals and objectives that support short-term objectives and long-term positioning of the business
  • assess, procure, and manage the resources required to run a sustainable business
  • develop a high-performance team at all levels in the organization
  • ensure appropriate distribution of workload amongst direct reports
  • ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and other regulatory standards
  • implement and enforce operating procedures in compliance with company policies and safety standards
  • represent the company in negotiations with private organizations and government
  • ensure technicians have necessary work instructions, equipment, and tools
  • ensure all activities comply with company procedures, Quality Management System, and Safety Management System
