Job Requirements

  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 8 years’ experience in management operations, sales and marketing, finance and accounting, or related area
  • OR 4-year bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 6 years’ experience in management operations, sales and marketing, finance and accounting, or related area
  • General Manager experience in limited or full-service property preferred
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays and late nights
  • Property industry work experience demonstrating progressive career growth and exceptional performance
  • Strong business acumen and leadership capabilities

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related field
  • Extensive experience in management operations, sales and marketing, finance, and accounting
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing property leadership teams
  • Ability to develop and execute business strategies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in hospitality industry with progressive responsibility
  • Familiarity with revenue management and market analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to foster employee development and succession planning

Job Duties

  • Develop business strategies to maximize customer satisfaction and profitability
  • Execute property business plans aligned with Marriott brand strategies
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive revenue generation
  • Manage and coach the Executive Committee for high performance
  • Serve as a brand champion and uphold JW Marriott brand values
  • Analyze business data to inform decision-making and improve operations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners and the local community
