Job Requirements

  • Minimum five years of management experience in a full-service restaurant
  • At least two years of experience as a General Manager
  • Valid Servsafe certification or equivalent food safety credential
  • Strong leadership skills with understanding of labor and liquor laws
  • Financial management experience including budgeting and P and L analysis
  • Ability to lead and develop a diverse management team
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Five plus years of management experience in full-service, high-volume, upscale restaurants
  • Two plus years of General Manager experience in full-service restaurants
  • Servsafe certification or equivalent
  • Proven ability to uphold company standards and drive culture
  • Experience in schedule writing, budgeting, financial analysis, and sales growth
  • Strong spirit of hospitality
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in developing entry-level managers and promoting internal growth

Job Duties

  • Drive the company culture and core values
  • Partner with Director of Operations and Human Resources to ensure policy adherence
  • Maintain restaurant facilities and coordinate repair work
  • Ensure compliance with labor, liquor, and food safety laws
  • Develop management team through one-on-one coaching and performance reviews
  • Oversee staff scheduling within budget and in advance
  • Manage product purchasing, inventory, and invoice processing
  • Analyze financial reports, including P and L, to control costs and increase sales
  • Manage staffing, job postings, hiring, and foster a positive work environment
  • Implement coaching and training programs to maintain standards
  • Provide guest engagement including tableside presence and online review response
  • Oversee financial responsibilities including inventory, payroll, tip distribution, and cash reconciliation
