Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- Minimum 5 years senior management in live entertainment venue
- Experience negotiating contracts and supervising staff
- Knowledge of labor relations and union contracts
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage confidential information
- Capacity to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Understanding of live entertainment venue operations
- Proven leadership and problem-solving skills
- Compliance with safety standards and regulations
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, or related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years senior management experience in a theater, amphitheater, arena, or convention center
- Experience in contract negotiation, business law, purchasing procedures, and supervising personnel
- Experience with labor relations and union contracts
- Preferred experience in non-profit sector and working with Board of Directors
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Knowledge of best practices managing live entertainment theaters or similar venues
- Ability to anticipate issues and solve problems proactively
- Strong understanding of event booking, production, marketing, public and media relations
- Working knowledge of safety regulations and relevant laws
- Strong hospitality and customer service orientation
- Knowledge of facility operations including maintenance and office management
- Proven leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to manage complex live entertainment venues successfully
Job Duties
- Provide financial leadership including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Maintain active contact with Client and Contract Administrator ensuring contract compliance
- Maximize facility utilization through sales, marketing, and booking efforts
- Negotiate and approve leases, contracts, and agreements with various stakeholders
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with Client, boards, tenants, government agencies, partners, and community
- Implement and oversee training, quality assurance, energy management, safety, security, and emergency programs
- Develop and execute facility goals aligned with management contract and corporate policies
- Oversee all facility operations and conduct post-event reviews
- Plan, organize, and direct all facility activities and personnel
- Oversee annual operating calendar, event schedules, attendance, and revenue projections
- Direct development and administration of operating, marketing, and capital budgets
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to Client and Corporate Office
- Lead Human Resources functions including staffing, compensation, benefits, recruiting, training, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Evaluate operations and implement improvements for efficiency, effectiveness, and safety
- Maintain positive relationships with tenants, employees, union representatives, and public
