Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, real estate management, or related field
  • Experience as a general manager or in a similar leadership role within luxury residential condo real estate
  • Strong knowledge of property management principles and local regulations
  • Proven financial management skills including budgeting and contract negotiation
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with luxury condominium markets and operational practices

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, or related field
  • MBA preferred
  • Proven experience as a General Manager or similar leadership role in luxury residential condo real estate
  • Strong background in board governance and executive decision-making
  • In-depth knowledge of property management principles, practices, and local regulations
  • Demonstrated track record in delivering exceptional customer service and tenant satisfaction
  • Excellent financial acumen including budgeting, financial analysis, and contract negotiation
  • Outstanding leadership abilities with strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Familiarity with luxury condominium market trends and best practices

Job Duties

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the property management team
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business plans and operating strategies
  • Collaborate with executive team and board members on long-term strategies
  • Manage capital and expense budgets and report to stakeholders
  • Maintain communication with stakeholders, vendors, and residents on quality control and maintenance
  • Oversee construction activities and building rehabilitations during development and lease-up
  • Develop and enforce policies for construction, tenant alterations, and insurance requirements
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs
  • Ensure vendor compliance with contractual agreements
  • Supervise accounts payable and receivable operations
  • Manage the property’s financial performance including budgeting and forecasting
  • Monitor financial statements and implement corrective actions
  • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts
  • Oversee day-to-day operations including maintenance, facilities management, security, and tenant services
  • Develop policies and systems to optimize operational efficiency
  • Foster relationships with condominium owners, residents, and tenants
  • Collaborate with marketing and leasing teams to attract and retain tenants
  • Represent the property in community associations and board meetings
  • Recruit, develop, and lead the property management team
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance evaluations
  • Identify training needs and implement talent retention strategies
