Job Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive hotel leadership experience
  • At least 5 years as a General Manager in a full-service or luxury property
  • Experience leading an opening or large-scale renovation project in the luxury or upper-upscale segment
  • Ability to work effectively with an active and involved ownership group
  • Strong financial management skills with P&L experience
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred

  • Strong financial acumen, with experience managing P&L statements and delivering on revenue and profitability targets
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strategic mindset combined with operational discipline—comfortable leading both vision and detail
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for all aspects of the hotel’s pre-opening, opening, and stabilization phases
  • Partner daily with ownership representatives, ensuring alignment on performance objectives, financial results, and brand standards
  • Build and mentor a best-in-class opening team of approximately 350–400 team members, fostering a culture of excellence, inclusion, and empowerment
  • Oversee all hotel operations, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Engineering, and Human Resources
  • Lead pre-opening activities such as P&L development, departmental planning, vendor selection, recruitment, and SOP implementation
  • Ensure the successful launch and positioning of the property within the luxury segment—achieving operational excellence, superior guest satisfaction, and financial success
  • Drive collaboration across the Davidson Hospitality platform and with ownership to ensure consistent communication, reporting, and execution
  • Serve as the public face and brand ambassador for the hotel, establishing strong relationships with community, media, and key business partners
