Job Requirements
- Active cosmetology license
- Minimum two years of salon and retail experience
- Operational management experience of at least two years
- Experience in supervising and managing teams
- Strong technical skills as professional colorist
- Proven success in meeting key operational goals
- Ability to work weekends, holidays and peak business times
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Job Qualifications
- Active cosmetology license in the state of application
- 2 plus years of salon and retail experience
- 2 plus years of operational management experience
- 2 plus years supervising team members and participating in hiring, training and scheduling
- Strong technical proficiency as a colorist
- Proven track record of exceeding operational and performance metrics
- Fluency in English
Job Duties
- Demonstrate and continue to develop leadership skills to provide a top tier employee and guest experience aligned with company values
- Lead by example through exhibiting sales and service behaviors and resolving guest service issues
- Ensure all business aspects are staffed and resourced including front of house operations and managing bookings, services and memberships
- Demonstrate mastery of all services provided and work behind the chair as needed
- Step in for district support including training new managers and providing onsite support
- Achieve monthly sales goals and key performance indicators including retail sales and memberships
- Ensure Hair Color Bar meets company standards for cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and asset security
- Coach and develop team members to ensure high level of team culture, guest satisfaction, and performance
- Own recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, performance management, coaching, talent development and training
- Manage employee schedules in compliance with labor laws, budgets, and business needs
