Job Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree or associate’s degree with relevant experience
  • minimum five years of foodservice management experience
  • strong leadership abilities
  • excellent communication skills
  • proficiency in financial and budgetary management
  • ability to manage multiple units
  • knowledge of foodservice standards and sanitation regulations
  • computer literacy
  • capability to train and develop staff
  • willingness to work in multiple locations

Job Qualifications

  • b.s. degree in food services technology or management or related field or a.a. degree plus five to seven years of related experience
  • minimum of five years of retail operational foodservice management experience preferred
  • knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, marketing and presentation
  • p&l accountability and contract-managed service experience desirable
  • multi-unit management experience
  • experience with cash retail operations
  • retail marketing experience highly desirable
  • supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills
  • good communication skills both written and verbal
  • ability to communicate on various levels including management, customer and associate
  • knowledge of financial, budgetary, accounting and computational practices
  • proficient computer skills including various programs, microsoft office, email and internet
  • certified dietary manager (cdm) certification highly desirable

Job Duties

  • manage multiple dining service departments across facilities
  • ensure operations meet service and management timelines
  • oversee financial planning, budgeting, and reporting
  • interact professionally with associates, clients, and management
  • conduct management meetings
  • audit units to ensure compliance with standards and regulations
  • hire, train and orient new management associates
