Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in food service technology or related field
- Minimum five years of directly related foodservice management experience
- Experience in retail operational foodservice
- Knowledge of financial, budgetary, and accounting practices
- Ability to manage multiple units and lead teams
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office
- Ability to meet physical and operational demands of the job
Job Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field
- Minimum five years of retail operational foodservice management experience
- Knowledge of food and catering trends focused on quality, production, sanitation, and cost control
- Experience with profit and loss accountability
- Multi-unit management experience
- Supervisory, leadership, and management skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and email
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification highly desirable
Job Duties
- Manage overall operations and cost-effective management of multiple dining service departments
- Ensure team achievement of financial goals and targets
- Maintain compliance with foodservice, sanitation, and safety standards
- Conduct management meetings and train new management associates
- Manage financial planning, budgeting, and reporting
- Interact professionally with associates, clients, and customers
- Evaluate problems and develop appropriate recommendations
