Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in food service technology or related field
  • Minimum five years of directly related foodservice management experience
  • Experience in retail operational foodservice
  • Knowledge of financial, budgetary, and accounting practices
  • Ability to manage multiple units and lead teams
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to meet physical and operational demands of the job

Job Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Food Services Technology/Management or related field
  • Minimum five years of retail operational foodservice management experience
  • Knowledge of food and catering trends focused on quality, production, sanitation, and cost control
  • Experience with profit and loss accountability
  • Multi-unit management experience
  • Supervisory, leadership, and management skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and email
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification highly desirable

Job Duties

  • Manage overall operations and cost-effective management of multiple dining service departments
  • Ensure team achievement of financial goals and targets
  • Maintain compliance with foodservice, sanitation, and safety standards
  • Conduct management meetings and train new management associates
  • Manage financial planning, budgeting, and reporting
  • Interact professionally with associates, clients, and customers
  • Evaluate problems and develop appropriate recommendations
