Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of management experience
  • boating and/or marine related experience
  • ability to swim
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • computer proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • physical ability to move on foot frequently
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • ability to stand for entire workday
  • ability to withstand temperature extremes and outdoor weather
  • reading and writing work-related documents in English
  • speech recognition and clarity in English
  • physical presence at the job site essential

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Plan and develop daily operations
  • forecast and analyze sales, labor, and profit
  • ensure compliance with established budget
  • schedule, supervise, and participate in operational duties
  • recruit, supervise, train, schedule, discipline, review, and direct management and staff
  • maintain accounting records, daily reporting, and cash control
  • manage P&L statement
  • respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints
  • maintain and ensure safe facility environment including maintenance of equipment, housekeeping, sanitation, dress, cash control, and employee hygiene
  • notify District Manager of unusual events or safety issues
  • represent the company professionally
  • maintain and enhance company image
  • ensure maintenance of all facilities including docks and grounds
  • create and implement preventive maintenance and risk management programs
  • manage boat/vessel scheduling, slip leasing, and collections
  • maintain awareness of safety issues and report immediately
