Job Requirements
- Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality where the focus is customer facing (a plus, but not required - we will train you)
- Takes pride in being part of a team and embodies One Dove principles - kindness, respect, deliciousness, efficiency, and cleanliness
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Frequent walking, bending, reaching, and twisting
Job Qualifications
- At least five years of leadership experience in food service or retail
- Experience managing or working in a café or coffee shop is a plus
- Strong leadership and team motivation skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of food safety and health regulations
- Ability to train and develop team members
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Passion for coffee and hospitality
- Ability to implement business strategies and manage inventory
- Familiarity with financial reporting and scheduling systems
Job Duties
- Inspire, train, and support your team to deliver stellar service and unforgettable coffee experiences
- Turn first-time guests into loyal regulars with warm hospitality and attention to detail
- Contribute ideas to improve the menu and promote employee engagement
- Assist in managing daily café operations ensuring high standards of food and beverage preparation, presentation, and service
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and safety protocols even in your absence
- Report and address any safety, harassment, or injury issues immediately
- Cultivate and create a passionate hospitality environment
- Educate baristas on La Colombe mission, culture, and the story of coffees
- Build authentic relationships with guests and exceed their expectations
- Oversee inventory operations including ordering, stocking, merchandising and maintain optimal inventory levels
- Manage opening and closing procedures and financial reporting
- Develop strategies to drive business growth
- Create an efficient and cost-effective weekly schedule that optimally deploys baristas to enhance customer experience
