Job Description
This job posting is for a position at a restaurant that is owned and operated by an independent franchisee. This franchisee has obtained a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products to operate the restaurant, but it is important to note that the franchisee is a separate and distinct company from McDonald’s USA. Job Requirements
- Able to run a profitable restaurant meeting McDonald’s customer standards
- Skilled in team leadership and staff development
- Experience with goal setting and achieving results
- Competent in coaching and managing multiple departments
- Capable of hiring and developing managers
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Willing to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
Job Qualifications
- Previous General Manager experience in high volume locations
- Experience in quick service restaurants preferred
- Experience in hospitality or retail is beneficial
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to set goals and drive achievement
- Effective coaching and communication abilities
- Must be 18 years or older to manage corporate owned restaurants
Job Duties
- Run a profitable restaurant that meets McDonald’s quality, service, and cleanliness standards
- Set restaurant goals and create plans to achieve them
- Lead and support a team of Department Managers
- Help Department Managers set goals and monitor progress
- Provide coaching and direction to Department Managers
- Hire and develop Department and Shift Managers
- Ensure the restaurant has the right leadership team for future success
