Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of management experience in the contract food service industry encompassing concessions, premium services, and catering in a sports and entertainment venue
  • Experience working in a union environment, understanding and managing through a collective bargaining agreement is highly preferred
  • Operational financial management accountability and budgeting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or similar
  • Prior project management experience is preferred

Job Duties

  • Directly supervise unit management and oversee supervision of team members including recruitment, hiring, training, development, and promotion
  • Determine and control staffing levels to maximize net returns to the client while maintaining satisfactory guest service levels
  • Prepare and present operational recommendations that drive exceptional services and quality products for guests including innovative service styles and emerging technology enhancements
  • Leverage data and analytics to determine operational and pricing strategies that drive shared profit growth
  • Work collaboratively with all parties on technology, design, and layout of food and beverage locations
  • Verify, prepare, and submit reports and monthly projections as required as well as ensure effective systems for ordering, inventory, and payroll procedures are in place
  • Maintain knowledge of labor and union issues and best practices to promote positive labor relations
  • Initiate capital budget to replace, repair or remodel equipment and facilities
  • Project management duties as assigned
  • Accountable for establishing and maintaining proper safety and sanitation procedures as well as ensuring proper repair and maintenance of food service and retail equipment
  • Ensure operation follows company policies and procedures
  • Develop and manage all vendor relationships
  • Ability to communicate with various levels within the organization
  • Ensure unit compliance with federal, state, local, and company regulations regarding the sale of alcohol, PCI, OSHA, payroll, and employment and EEO guidelines
