Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of supervisory experience in convenience store, retail, fast food, or restaurant operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Outgoing personality and approachable demeanor
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Completion of necessary certification testing
- Commitment to superior customer service
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Physical ability to maintain store safety and cleanliness
Job Qualifications
- 1 year of supervisory experience in convenience store, retail, fast food, or restaurant operations
- Ability to effectively perform in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, resourceful, creative, and organized
- Outgoing personality and approachable demeanor
- Effective communication skills at all organizational levels
- Ability to provide coverage including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to bend, stoop, and stand for at least 8 hours
- Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 30 lbs
- Successful completion of certification testing as required
- Understanding of the importance of customer service and commitment to delivering superior customer experiences
- Skills in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Excellent communication skills
Job Duties
- Assists Store Manager in daily shift management, including customer relations, inventory control, procedural tasks and paperwork, and visual merchandising
- Maintains individual and shift sales
- Provides daily shift floor coverage
- Trains Sales Associates
- Supervises POS
- Provides security and loss prevention in store
- Maintains company standards regarding personal and store sales performance metrics
- Stocks shelves and refrigerated coolers
- Assists manager in minimizing cash and inventory loss and operating within assigned shrink targets
- Learns and ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws
- Shadows manager in day-to-day operations
- Provides the best customer experience to every customer
- Greets every customer with a smile and sincere greeting
- Suggests possible purchases and promotes specials
- Assumes full responsibility for executing Nouria's customer service program
- Minimizes safety risks
- Ensures staff are trained on safety policies
- Enforces environmental and hazardous material regulations
- Maintains safety and security of the store
- Manages store appearance
- Operates store equipment safely
- Supports implementation of Nouria Safety and Health program
- Reports and investigates workplace accidents
- Conducts new employee safety orientation
- Inspects stores for hazards and initiates corrective action
- Encourages reporting of unsafe conditions
- Promotes quick return to work for employees under supervision
