Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year supervisory experience in a relevant field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand and lift up to 30 pounds
- Completion of required certification testing
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to perform safety and security tasks

- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel

Job Duties
- Assist Store Manager in daily shift management including customer relations, inventory control, procedural tasks and paperwork, and visual merchandising
- Maintain individual and shift sales
- Provide daily shift floor coverage
- Train Sales Associates
- Supervise POS operations
- Provide security and loss prevention in store
- Maintain company standards regarding personal and store sales performance metrics
- Stock shelves and refrigerated coolers
- Assist manager in minimizing loss of cash and inventory and operate within assigned shrink targets
- Learn and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws within the scope of convenience/food store operation
- Shadow manager in day to day operations
- Provide the best customer experience to every customer
- Greet customers with a smile and sincere greeting
- Suggest possible purchases and promote specials
- Execute Nouria's customer service program at the site level
- Minimize safety risks to employees, customers, and suppliers
- Ensure site employees are trained on safety policies and procedures
- Enforce environmental and hazardous material regulations
- Maintain safety and security of the store and document accidents or incidents
- Manage the maintenance of the customer environment inside and around the store
- Operate all assigned equipment safely and efficiently
- Support implementation of Nouria Safety and Health program
- Report and investigate workplace accidents or incidents
- Conduct new employee safety orientation
- Inspect stores regularly for workplace hazards
- Encourage employees to report unsafe conditions
- Promote quick return to work for employees under supervision
