Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Two to four years experience in operations management
  • Successful history in senior living or related fields
  • Experience in team recruitment, training, and development
  • Understanding of performance management
  • Knowledge of facilities management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Compliance with motor vehicle policies
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to perform driving duties with company or personal vehicle

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, hospitality, or related field preferred
  • Two to four years of experience in operations management with success in meeting financial goals in senior/retirement living, assisted living, long-term care, hospitality, restaurant or retail management
  • Successful work history in senior living, long-term care, hospitality, restaurant or retail management
  • Demonstrated success in operating and maintaining a quality, customer service focused workforce
  • Experience recruiting, training, and developing team members
  • Understanding of performance management expectations
  • Knowledge of facilities management and maintenance
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Compliance with Company Motor Vehicle Policy standards
  • Valid driver's license

Job Duties

  • Partner with the Regional Vice President in developing sales and operations strategies and tactics
  • Regularly communicate community performance with Regional Vice President
  • Supervise and collaborate with Community Sales Manager to assess competitive threats and sales plans
  • Perform scheduled marketing and sales activities including calls, tours, and sales meetings
  • Implement strategies regarding labor, occupancy, expenses, and quality enhancement, reviewing and redirecting as necessary
  • Assist in developing community budgets and capital requirements including forecasting and expense approval
  • Act as liaison between field operations and Support Center, building strong relationships
  • Perform regular reviews and recommend on building needs and preventative maintenance
  • Provide on-call and overnight coverage as needed
  • Work in various community positions when required due to training, PTO coverage, or absences
  • Build and maintain a high-performing team achieving company engagement standards
  • Manage interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, development, and performance of assigned staff
  • Meet financial management requirements
  • Maintain a safe working and living environment
  • Conduct monthly resident and staff meetings to communicate effectively
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders
  • Perform other duties as assigned
