Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of restaurant management experience
- Experience managing annual sales exceeding $4 million
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Capability to lead and motivate diverse teams
- Compliance with all airport security and badging requirements
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience managing a high-volume QSR or casual dining restaurant
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial and operational data
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience making staffing and scheduling decisions
- Knowledge of employee engagement and motivation techniques
- Understanding of diversity and inclusion practices
Job Duties
- Open and close the restaurant ensuring all checklists and requirements are met
- Deploy staff and resources to maximize profitability and maintain P&L responsibility
- Assign work tasks, prepare schedules, and ensure all shifts are covered
- Provide restaurant staff with coaching, support, and encouragement to achieve business goals
- Interview and make hiring, termination, promotion, and status change decisions for associates
- Promote HMSHost as an employer of choice within the local community
- Ensure compliance with onboarding and offboarding processes including badging, orientation, and training
