Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of restaurant management experience
  • Experience managing annual sales exceeding $4 million
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Capability to lead and motivate diverse teams
  • Compliance with all airport security and badging requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing a high-volume QSR or casual dining restaurant
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial and operational data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience making staffing and scheduling decisions
  • Knowledge of employee engagement and motivation techniques
  • Understanding of diversity and inclusion practices

Job Duties

  • Open and close the restaurant ensuring all checklists and requirements are met
  • Deploy staff and resources to maximize profitability and maintain P&L responsibility
  • Assign work tasks, prepare schedules, and ensure all shifts are covered
  • Provide restaurant staff with coaching, support, and encouragement to achieve business goals
  • Interview and make hiring, termination, promotion, and status change decisions for associates
  • Promote HMSHost as an employer of choice within the local community
  • Ensure compliance with onboarding and offboarding processes including badging, orientation, and training
