Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3-5 years of restaurant management experience in a QSR or casual dining environment
  • Proven ability to manage and lead large teams
  • Ability to work a varied and rotating schedule including opening and closing shifts
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and budget management
  • Ability to adhere to and enforce health and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing a complex restaurant or cluster of restaurants generating over $4 million in annual sales
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills with broad discretion
  • Ability to manage financial and operational performance including P&L responsibility
  • Experience in recruiting, hiring, training, and coaching restaurant staff
  • Knowledge of health, safety, sanitation standards, and compliance
  • Proficiency in restaurant management information systems
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Commitment to promoting diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement

Job Duties

  • Ensure restaurant opening and closing procedures are executed and staff are held accountable
  • Manage staffing and deployment to maximize profitability and ensure shifts are covered
  • Provide coaching, support, and encouragement to restaurant staff to meet business goals
  • Interview, hire, promote, and terminate associates while promoting diversity and inclusion
  • Oversee product availability, receiving, invoice processing, and vendor communication
  • Maintain and monitor restaurant equipment, scheduling repairs or service as needed
  • Implement marketing programs and promotional activities to drive revenue growth
  • Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Handle customer and associate issues, escalating complex situations to senior leadership as needed
  • Maintain proficiency with management information systems like MIV, Crunch Time, and Kronos
  • Conduct training and education activities to enhance staff skills and engagement
