Job Requirements

  • Ability to work varied and rotating schedules including opening and closing shifts
  • demonstrated leadership in managing complex restaurants or clusters of restaurants
  • proficiency in using management information systems like MIV, Crunch Time, and Kronos
  • understanding of federal, state, and local health and safety laws
  • commitment to diversity and inclusion
  • capability to train and motivate staff effectively
  • excellent problem-solving skills
  • ability to maintain high standards of customer service
  • must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and customers

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years restaurant P&L management experience
  • 5 to 7 years overall restaurant operational experience
  • graduation from food service management or culinary program preferred
  • demonstrated team management, delegation, and issue resolution skills
  • knowledge of HMSHost policies, service, quality, equipment, and operations standards
  • ability to read and comprehend instructions and documents
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently

Job Duties

  • Open and close the restaurant ensuring all procedures are followed
  • manage staffing and deployment to maximize profitability and coverage
  • provide consistent support, coaching, and encouragement to restaurant staff
  • conduct hiring, promotion, and termination decisions
  • enforce company diversity and inclusion philosophy
  • oversee product availability and manage supply chain issues
  • maintain operational knowledge of management systems and schedule equipment maintenance
  • train associates on brand standards and employee engagement behaviors
  • manage day-to-day activities and resolve customer and associate issues
  • implement marketing programs and promotions
  • ensure compliance with all safety, health, and sanitation standards
  • monitor and report on financial and operational metrics
  • recognize and motivate employees
  • participate in audits and food donation programs
  • maintain current employee contact information and oversee onboarding and offboarding processes
