Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of restaurant industry experience with at least 3 years in managerial roles
  • Proven track record of managing restaurant P&L across multiple annual cycles
  • Ability to lead diverse teams and drive employee engagement
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle concurrent priorities
  • Compliance with all federal, state, and local health and safety laws
  • Ability to work a flexible and rotating schedule including opening, busy, and closing shifts
  • Authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Experience managing casual dining or quick service restaurants with overall responsibility for P&L success for three or more years
  • Demonstrated skills in team management, delegation, and issue resolution
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations, HMSHost policies, and service standards or willingness to learn promptly
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate policies, menus, and operational documents effectively
  • Graduation from a Food Service Management or Culinary program may substitute for part of experience requirement

Job Duties

  • Open and close the restaurant managing all aspects of shift transitions
  • Ensure staffing and deployment strategies maximize profitability and meet operational needs
  • Provide coaching, support, and encouragement to restaurant staff to achieve business goals
  • Conduct hiring, advancement, promotion, and termination decisions for associates
  • Maintain product availability and oversee receiving, invoicing, and vendor relationships
  • Monitor restaurant equipment status and schedule maintenance or repairs as required
  • Implement marketing programs and ensure compliance with brand standards and promotions
