Job Requirements
- Minimum five years of restaurant experience including three years in P&L management
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities
- Ability to work a varied and rotating schedule including opening closing and busy shifts
- Strong knowledge of health safety and sanitary regulations
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Experience with restaurant financial and operational reporting
- Ability to deploy staff and manage scheduling efficiently
- Commitment to fostering employee engagement and inclusion
- Capable of handling customer and associate issues using judgment
- Ability to maintain compliance with company and legal standards
- Proficiency with technology and management systems
- Willingness to participate in training and development

Job Qualifications
- Proven P&L management experience for a minimum of three years in complex restaurant operations
- Overall restaurant experience of five to seven years in relevant types including QSR and Casual Dine
- Graduation from Food Service Management or Culinary program can substitute for partial experience
- Demonstrated team management delegation and issue resolution skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities effectively
- Knowledge of HMSHost policies products service quality equipment and operation standards or ability to quickly gain this knowledge
- Proficient in reading and comprehending instructions correspondence policy documents menus and brand standards
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with individuals

- Familiarity with management information systems used by the company such as MIV Crunch Time and Kronos
Job Duties
- Ensure all assistant managers and staff recognize the importance of opening and closing procedures and hold shift managers accountable
- Understand adopt and consistently demonstrate manager behaviors to foster employee engagement
- Deploy staff and resources to maximize profitability and accept P&L responsibility
- Assign work tasks prepare schedules and ensure all shifts are covered
- Provide consistent support coaching and encouragement to restaurant staff
- Conduct interviews and make hiring termination advancement and promotion decisions
- Maintain and execute company diversity and inclusion philosophy in the restaurant
- Ensure onboarding and offboarding activities compliance including badging orientation and training
- Read and monitor financial and operational data to meet unit goals and assign associates accordingly
- Recognize and motivate restaurant staff through performance appreciation and company recognition initiatives
- Accept understand adopt train and champion employee engagement behaviors
- Keep current contact information for all restaurant associates
- Ensure daily orders are prepared stock levels are adequate and instruct staff on order procedures
- Oversee receiving goods processing invoices and resolve supply chain issues
- Maintain proficiency in management systems like MIV Crunch Time and Kronos
- Monitor and maintain restaurant equipment scheduling servicing or repairs
- Participate and manage responses to NSF and other audits
- Minimize waste record data and engage in food donation programs
- Assess skill levels of restaurant associates and coordinate training and education
- Promote adoption of new technology and maintain knowledge of brand standards agreements and procedures
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue
- Manage daily activities of associates and use discretion in resolving customer and associate issues
- Provide ongoing feedback reflecting progress on development and business goals
- Implement marketing programs and drive revenue compliance with brand initiatives
- Maintain understanding and enforcement of health safety and sanitary standards
- Hold managers and staff accountable for safety standards adherence
- Train in wellness protocols and adhere to COVID-19 requirements
- Perform health and safety activities as outlined in the Manager's Guide
