Job Requirements

  • Documented and demonstrated restaurant management experience including P&L responsibility for multiple annual cycles
  • Graduation from Food Service Management or Culinary program may substitute some experience
  • Effective team management and delegation skills
  • Knowledge of company policies and operational procedures
  • Ability to read, understand, and communicate menus and standards
  • Willingness to work varied and rotating schedules including shifts during busy periods
  • Legal eligibility to work in the location

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of restaurant P&L management experience
  • Overall five to seven years of restaurant operational experience
  • Graduation from a Food Service Management or Culinary program (preferred or partial substitute for experience)
  • Demonstrated team management and issue resolution skills
  • Knowledge of HMSHost policies, products, and operational standards
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Job Duties

  • Manage opening and closing operations to ensure readiness
  • Deploy staff and resources effectively to maximize profitability
  • Interview, hire, and evaluate restaurant associates maintaining diversity and inclusion principles
  • Oversee ordering, receiving, and inventory management ensuring product availability
  • Maintain restaurant equipment and coordinate repairs and maintenance
  • Implement training and coaching for associates to meet business goals
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
