Job Requirements
- Documented experience managing QSR or similar restaurant operations with P&L responsibility
- minimum 3 years of P&L management experience and 5-7 years overall restaurant experience
- ability to work varied and rotating schedules including opening and closing shifts
- strong leadership and decision-making abilities
- knowledge of safety, health, and sanitation regulations
- ability to coach, mentor, and develop staff
- excellent communication skills
- ability to understand and enforce company and brand standards
- flexibility to handle multiple priorities
- ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
- willingness to participate in training and professional development
- ability to manage vendor relationships and supply chain issues

Job Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of restaurant P&L management experience
- 5-7 years of overall restaurant management experience in QSR or similar environment
- graduation from food service management or culinary program considered a plus
- demonstrated team management, delegation, and conflict resolution skills
- knowledge of HMSHost policies, products, and operational standards or ability to learn quickly
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- ability to understand and work with menus, brand standards, and company documentation
- proficiency with management information systems and related software
Job Duties
- Open and close the restaurant according to established checklists and procedures
- deploy staff and resources effectively to maximize profitability
- provide consistent support, coaching, and encouragement to restaurant staff
- interview, hire, promote, or terminate associates as needed
- ensure compliance with company diversity and inclusion policies
- oversee product availability, stock levels, and vendor communications
- maintain and schedule maintenance for restaurant equipment
- manage financial and operational data to monitor and achieve goals
- implement marketing programs and promotional activities
- ensure all federal, state, and local health and safety standards are observed and enforced
- resolve customer and associate issues with discretion
- train and develop associates and promote adoption of new technologies
- manage daily activities of restaurant operations and associates
- participate in food waste reduction and donation programs
- maintain accurate associate contact information
- recognize staff performance and motivate teams
- adhere to all employee engagement behaviors
