Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- minimum 5 years of management experience in logistics or transport operations
- strong knowledge of continuous improvement practices
- experience ensuring compliance with safety regulations and laws
- ability to manage budgets and financial objectives
- excellent leadership and communication skills
- ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in logistics, business, or related field
- proven leadership and management experience in transport and logistics operations
- strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies including LEAN and Six Sigma
- experience with regulatory compliance including OSHA and ISO standards
- demonstrated ability in budget development and financial analysis
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with clients, vendors, and business partners
- proficiency in managing technology and information systems related to operations
- capacity to lead and develop teams and drive organizational goals
Job Duties
- Ensure systems and procedures are in place for managing operations, equipment, and products safely and profitably
- lead operations to meet productivity and service goals
- set goals to drive continuous improvement efforts
- develop and maintain productive business relations with vendors, suppliers, and partners
- ensure OSHA requirements and all Federal and State Law compliance
- assist in setting standards appropriate to client scope of work
- manage service level and operations performance to meet cost, revenue, and profit parameters
- partner with senior leadership to develop and recommend annual operating budget
- ensure overall safety and security of operation
- develop team to achieve company and client objectives
- support mentoring, succession planning, and management development
- communicate mission, vision, and core values to motivate direct reports
- proactively develop plans and capital requests for automation and technology
- act as site-level champion of client relationship management
- maintain contact with all functions and respond to client requests
- coordinate and lead business reviews with client and company representatives
- promote positive client relationships through excellent customer service
