Job Requirements

  • documented experience managing quick service or similar restaurants
  • proven p&l management skills over multiple annual cycles
  • ability to hire, coach, and lead teams
  • knowledge of food safety, health, and sanitation laws
  • ability to read and comprehend policy and operational documents
  • flexible to work varied schedules including early mornings and evenings
  • excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Job Qualifications

  • minimum 3 years of restaurant profit and loss management experience
  • 5 to 7 years of overall restaurant experience in qsr or similar concepts
  • graduation from a food service management or culinary program is a plus
  • demonstrated team management and delegation skills
  • ability to manage multiple priorities
  • knowledge of hmsHost policies and operational standards
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to understand and apply brand standards

Job Duties

  • ensure cleanliness and operational readiness of the restaurant at opening and closing
  • manage staffing and deployment to maximize profitability and cover all shifts
  • provide coaching, support, and motivation to staff
  • conduct interviews, make hiring and termination decisions
  • uphold diversity and inclusion principles
  • manage ordering, inventory, and vendor relations
  • monitor and maintain restaurant equipment
  • implement training and ensure brand standard compliance
  • resolve customer and associate issues
  • oversee promotional and marketing activities
  • enforce safety and health regulations
  • maintain accurate operational and financial records
