Job Requirements
- documented experience managing quick service or similar restaurants
- proven p&l management skills over multiple annual cycles
- ability to hire, coach, and lead teams
- knowledge of food safety, health, and sanitation laws
- ability to read and comprehend policy and operational documents
- flexible to work varied schedules including early mornings and evenings
- excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Job Qualifications
- minimum 3 years of restaurant profit and loss management experience
- 5 to 7 years of overall restaurant experience in qsr or similar concepts
- graduation from a food service management or culinary program is a plus
- demonstrated team management and delegation skills
- ability to manage multiple priorities
- knowledge of hmsHost policies and operational standards
- strong communication skills
- ability to understand and apply brand standards
Job Duties
- ensure cleanliness and operational readiness of the restaurant at opening and closing
- manage staffing and deployment to maximize profitability and cover all shifts
- provide coaching, support, and motivation to staff
- conduct interviews, make hiring and termination decisions
- uphold diversity and inclusion principles
- manage ordering, inventory, and vendor relations
- monitor and maintain restaurant equipment
- implement training and ensure brand standard compliance
- resolve customer and associate issues
- oversee promotional and marketing activities
- enforce safety and health regulations
- maintain accurate operational and financial records
