Job Requirements

  • minimum 3 years of profit and loss management experience
  • 5 to 7 years of overall restaurant experience
  • ability to manage multiple priorities and delegate effectively
  • ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and policies
  • knowledge of food service management or culinary program is a plus
  • willing to work varied schedules including opening and closing shifts

Job Qualifications

  • documented experience managing quick service or similar restaurants
  • knowledge of HMSHost policies and operational standards
  • demonstrated skills in team management and issue resolution
  • ability to read and comprehend operational documents
  • experience with financial data and reporting
  • proficiency in management software such as MIV, Crunch Time, and Kronos

Job Duties

  • open and close restaurant according to operational checklists
  • manage staffing and deployment of resources to maximize profitability
  • interview and hire staff and make employment decisions
  • ensure compliance with diversity and inclusion policies
  • monitor product availability and oversee receiving and invoicing
  • manage restaurant equipment and maintenance
  • develop and implement strategies to increase revenue
