Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years documented restaurant P&L management experience
- overall 5-7 years working experience in restaurant operations
- graduation from food service management or culinary program may substitute for some experience
- demonstrated team management and delegation skills
- knowledge of HMSHost policies or ability to learn quickly
- strong communication skills including reading and comprehending instructions and policy
- ability to manage multiple priorities
- willingness to work varied and rotating shifts including opening, peak, and closing
- ability to perform in fast-paced airport environment

Job Duties
- Open and close restaurant ensuring all closing and opening checklists are completed
- manage staffing and deployment to maximize profitability and cover all shifts
- provide coaching and support to restaurant staff to achieve business goals
- conduct interviews and make hiring, termination, and promotion decisions
- enforce company diversity and inclusion policies
- supervise onboarding and offboarding processes including compliance with badging and training requirements
- analyze financial and operational data to monitor performance and assign tasks
- recognize employee contributions and implement motivation plans
- ensure product availability and manage inventory including ordering and vendor relations
- oversee maintenance and repair of restaurant equipment
- assess skill levels and coordinate training programs
- embrace and promote technology adoption among staff
- maintain knowledge of brand standards, labor relations, and lease agreements
- develop and execute creative revenue enhancement strategies
- manage daily activities of associates across restaurants or points-of-sale
- resolve customer and employee issues with discretion
- deliver ongoing feedback aligned with individual and business goals
- implement and comply with marketing programs and promotions
- uphold health, safety, and sanitary standards as per federal, state, and local laws
- enforce safety compliance and wellness protocols including COVID-19 requirements
- participate in audit responses and food waste reduction initiatives
