Job Requirements

  • Graduation from a food service management or culinary program may substitute for some experience
  • documented management experience in QSR or similar restaurants
  • ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions and policy documents
  • demonstrated skills in delegation and issue resolution
  • knowledge of HMSHost products and services or ability to learn quickly
  • flexible schedule availability
  • ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of restaurant profit and loss management experience
  • 5 to 7 years of overall restaurant experience
  • ability to demonstrate leadership and team management skills
  • knowledge of hospitality policies and operational standards
  • strong communication skills
  • experience in training and employee development
  • ability to manage multiple priorities

Job Duties

  • Manage opening and closing of restaurant operations
  • deploy staff and prepare schedules to maximize profitability
  • interview and hire restaurant staff
  • provide coaching and support to achieve business goals
  • monitor product availability and equipment maintenance
  • ensure compliance with safety and health regulations
