Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Prior K-12 or Student Nutrition food service experience highly preferred
  • Strong focus on client and customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Experience in service industry or hospitality
  • Proven ability to lead through managers
  • Experience in budget management and financial analysis
  • Experience in sales strategy and operational initiatives
  • Ability to meet physical demands including lifting and standing
  • Willingness to wear required uniforms and personal protective equipment

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Prior K-12/Student Nutrition experience highly preferred
  • Ability to focus on client and customer service
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience in service industry, contract services, or hospitality
  • Proven leadership through other managers
  • Experience managing department budget and financial controls
  • Experience crafting product sales strategies and implementing operations
  • Ability to work with physical demands including lifting and standing
  • Willingness to use personal protective equipment

Job Duties

  • Lead, mentor, engage and develop teams to maximize contributions
  • Ensure food services connect to the Executional Framework
  • Coach employees to create shared understanding of goals and execution
  • Reward and recognize employees
  • Ensure safety and sanitation standards
  • Identify client needs and communicate progress
  • Adopt Aramark processes and systems
  • Build revenue and manage budget with cost controls
  • Ensure completion and maintenance of P&L statements
  • Achieve food and labor targets
  • Manage resources for quality and cost control
  • Implement Aramark agenda for labor and food initiatives
  • Create value through efficient operations and cost controls
  • Ensure full compliance with Operational Excellence fundamentals
  • Direct operations related to production, distribution and food service
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Comply with policies, rules and regulations
  • Establish procedures for ordering, receiving, storing, preparing and serving food
  • Develop operational forecasts and explain variances
  • Ensure sanitation and safety requirements are met
  • Coordinate and supervise personnel regarding production, merchandising, quality and labor management
  • Recruit, hire, develop and retain front line team
  • Conduct periodic inventory
  • Maintain compliance records
  • Interact with client management
  • Participate in sales process and contract negotiations
  • Implement new products and services for sales growth and client retention
